Glen foreleg survey 2020 (UK)

Survey now closed

This survey aims to collect information about foreleg issues in the Glen ... to support any future research projects, and to possibly inform future breeding strategy and guidance to puppy buyers & owners.

If you have taken your Glen to the vet with a history of any foreleg issues e.g. limping/lameness/stiffness/pain and/or excessive turnout of the front feet, and particularly if s/he has had foreleg surgery ... and if your Glen was born on or after 1st January 2010 (living or deceased) ... we would like you to complete the survey, please!

IMPORTANT NOTICE -- Before starting the survey: To ensure that the responses provided are as accurate as possible i.e. as recorded in the clinical notes, we would encourage you to speak to your vet and go through this brief pre-survey checklist together. Thank you!

It would also be helpful to have your Glen's date of birth and Kennel Club registered name (on registration certificate and pedigree) to hand when you start the survey.

PRIVACY NOTICE and CONFIDENTIALITY

By completing this survey you give the UK Glen of Imaal Terrier breed clubs and the Kennel Club permission to use the data for research, which may include sharing anonymous data with other research partners.

The information you provide is useful to monitor the incidence of Glen foreleg issues. The responses from this survey will go to the UK breed health coordinators and will be kept strictly confidential; the names of Glens and owners will not be disclosed in any reports.
